Coldwell Banker’s Hal Maxwell among top 200 most powerful people in residential real estate

MADISON – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. has announced that President Hal Maxwell was named among the “Most Powerful People in the Residential Real Estate Brokerage Industry” for 2017/18 by the Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200).
Maxwell was listed at number 84. The full list is viewable at https://www.t360.com/power200/2018. The SP200 is the definitive ranking of leaders and executives in the residential real estate brokerage industry and is published annually by T3 Sixty.
Maxwell serves as group president overseeing three Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage companies that serve New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y., Long Island and Queens, N.Y., and Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. Overall, he leads more than 110 real estate offices with approximately 6,700 affiliated agents.
He is a real estate veteran who began his career as an agent in 1984 and became a Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office manager in New Jersey in 1989, launching an illustrious career in management and senior leadership. A few years later, Maxwell was appointed regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. in and then executive vice president and general sales manager for field operations.
In 2003, Maxwell went on to lead the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Greater Baltimore and Greater Washington, D.C. companies as president, then was promoted to regional senior vice president of parent company NRT LLC’s Mid-Atlantic Region. He returned to New Jersey and was named senior vice president and chief operating officer of the NRT Eastern Seaboard Support Center in 2008. One year later, he was chosen to lead Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. as president. In 2017, Maxwell was promoted to group president overseeing three companies. He is a Chester, N.J. resident.
